LAUNCHBOX HELP · USE YOUR ASSISTANT
What can you do with LaunchBox + AI?
Turn ideas into post drafts, lessons and useful resources. Bring images and video into the workflow.
Before you start
Connect ChatGPT, Muse or Claude using the LaunchBox account that owns your community. Confirm which community is connected. Course and lesson drafting and media import each need the relevant optional permissions.
Five useful things to try
Turn an idea into a private post draft
Describe the audience, topic and tone. Ask your assistant to save a private draft and return its review link. Open the draft in LaunchBox to check it before deciding to publish.
Save a private post draft inviting members to share one small AI win. Keep it friendly and practical. Do not publish or notify members. Return the review link.
Build a course outline with draft lessons
Give your assistant a title and learning outcome. Ask for a small outline with draft lessons, then open the returned editor link. Check the course and lessons before changing their availability.
Create a draft course about a first useful AI workflow, with three short lessons: choose a task, write a prompt, and review the result. Keep everything unpublished and return the editor link.
Create a useful Library resource
Ask for a prompt template, checklist or worksheet and review the text first. When you ask the assistant to save it, specify the audience and access level.
Saving a Main-library resource makes it available to eligible members immediately. It is different from a private post draft. Posting it to the feed is a separate action.
Include generated or uploaded images
Images can support posts, lessons and resources. The video shows generated artwork in a post, a resource cover added in the LaunchBox editor, and an image from the device imported into a draft lesson through ChatGPT. Ask the assistant to use the actual file and verify the saved result.
Bring your own video
Ask the assistant to create an unpublished lesson and import the attached video. File transfer depends on the assistant. In this ChatGPT test, MP4 transfer was unavailable. We opened the existing lesson’s editor, chose Upload video, selected the file, waited for Ready to play and previewed it.
If transfer fails, reuse the existing draft instead of creating duplicates. Do not treat a pending import as a successful upload.
Always review the destination
Open the actual LaunchBox link and check the content, community and availability. Drafting, saving to the Library and publishing to the feed have different effects.

What can you do with LaunchBox + AI?
MCP is the connection that lets your AI assistant work with LaunchBox. Once connected, you can turn a conversation into useful community content. Here are a few examples using ChatGPT and Ian McDonald AI.
Turn an idea into a private post draft
First, ask for a community post. Give your assistant a topic, tone, and audience, and say, save a private draft. ChatGPT saves the post in LaunchBox and returns a review link. Open it to make the message your own before publishing.
Build a course outline with draft lessons
Next, turn your expertise into a learning experience. Ask for a beginner course with three short lessons, and keep everything unpublished. With lesson access enabled, ChatGPT creates the course and lesson drafts. Follow the editor link to review the structure and content.
Give members a resource they can use
Third, create something members can keep using, like a prompt template. Review the text in chat, then ask your assistant to add it to the Main library. Unlike a private post draft, a saved library resource becomes available to eligible members immediately. This example sends no feed post or notifications.
Bring your images and videos into the workflow
Your content can be visual, too. ChatGPT and other image-capable assistants can create artwork for posts, lessons, and resources. Here is our generated illustration in a private post. We also added it as a resource cover using the LaunchBox editor. You can attach an image from your device and ask your assistant to use it in a draft lesson. With media access approved, this image transferred into LaunchBox as a slide. Video handoff depends on the assistant. In this test, ChatGPT created the draft but could not transfer the attached video. The fallback is simple: open the returned lesson link, choose Upload video, and select the file from your device. Wait for processing, then preview the actual result.
Start with one useful task
Start with one useful task. Tell your assistant what to create, who it is for, and whether it should stay a draft. Open the LaunchBox link, check the content and media, and choose when to share it with your community.
