Give your community a rhythm August 19, 2026 ยท Hosted by Ian McDonald Use member showcases, a clear brand brief and a repeatable weekly rhythm to make your community easier to join and return to. Leave with one week of useful community activity. BEFORE YOU START Bring a short description of your community, the people it serves and one example of your voice or visual style. You can plan this in any AI chat before changing your live community. FOLLOW ALONG 1. Choose one recurring moment Pick a useful weekly activity: a question, a short demonstration or a member showcase. Explain what members will leave with and keep the first version small enough to repeat. 2. Give the activity your voice Write the audience, purpose, tone and visual references in a short brief. Add one real example. Ask for one invitation, then check its facts, wording and images against your own work. 3. Plan the return visit Choose a follow-up question and a short recap. Decide which discussions can be included and remove private details. Check the invitation link as a visitor before sharing it. PRACTICE PROMPTS Adapted exercises. Replace bracketed text and review every result. Plan a weekly rhythm My community helps [audience] with [outcome]. Plan one week with a short learning activity, a discussion and a recap. Use this voice: [example]. Keep the workload realistic and give each activity one purpose. Return a draft only. Review the invitation Review this community invitation: [draft]. Can a new member tell who it is for, what will happen and what to do next? Identify unclear claims and suggest one concise revision. Do not publish or send it. CHECKLIST [ ] I chose one recurring activity. [ ] I supplied an audience and a voice example. [ ] I checked the invitation and its destination. [ ] I chose a follow-up question. [ ] I kept private discussion out of the recap. GET UNSTUCK Do I need an activity every day? No. Start with a rhythm you can sustain. One useful session and a thoughtful follow-up are enough for this exercise. Should I copy the old brand settings exactly? Use your current community settings and the Support Agent if the screens differ. The transferable idea is to give AI clear brand context and review its output. https://www.launchbox.space/help/launch-and-learn/2026-08-19
