Go deeper with one useful tool May 20, 2026 ยท Hosted by Ian McDonald Turn a new AI feature into a small experiment with a clear goal and a result you can inspect. Leave with one completed tool experiment. BEFORE YOU START Choose one tool you already have and one task you want it to help with. Bring a safe input and a description of the output you need. FOLLOW ALONG 1. Define the useful result Describe one output you need this week. Pick a task small enough to try in a single sitting and write the criteria you will use to judge it. 2. Try the existing tool Provide the source, goal and constraints. Ask it to state missing information rather than fill gaps with assumptions. Keep the first result in draft form. 3. Inspect and capture the lesson Compare the result with your criteria. Record the instruction that helped, the issue that remains and whether another trial is worthwhile before adding a new tool. PRACTICE PROMPTS Adapted exercises. Replace bracketed text and review every result. Plan my experiment I have access to [tool] and need [result]. Help me design a small experiment using this safe input [input]. Define success, the review steps and the smallest useful output. Learn from the result Compare this output [output] with these criteria [criteria]. Identify what worked, what failed and one instruction to change in the next trial. Do not assume the task succeeded. CHECKLIST [ ] I chose one tool and task. [ ] I defined success. [ ] I used a safe input. [ ] I checked the actual output. [ ] I wrote down one lesson for the next trial. GET UNSTUCK Should I subscribe to every tool discussed? The exercise uses a tool you already have. Identify a real gap through a small trial before adding another subscription. Are the pricing and token announcements current? They describe plans at the time of this call. Check current product information before relying on a price, allowance or roadmap item. https://www.launchbox.space/help/launch-and-learn/2026-05-20
