Turn a big idea into a visible milestone April 29, 2026 ยท Hosted by Ian McDonald Use a peer check-in to explain what you are building, identify the obstacle and choose something concrete to finish. Leave with a milestone you can show next week. BEFORE YOU START Bring one project, its intended audience and the main thing holding it up. A rough draft is enough; you do not need a finished business to take part. FOLLOW ALONG 1. Explain the project plainly Write who it helps, the result and what exists today. Separate the goal from the features you might add later. 2. Name the blocker Identify whether you need a decision, missing information, technical help or time to finish. Write one question that would move the work forward. 3. Choose what to show Pick a small deliverable for the next check-in and define what a reviewer should be able to inspect. Keep the scope realistic and record the feedback you need. PRACTICE PROMPTS Adapted exercises. Replace bracketed text and review every result. Prepare a project check-in Help me describe this project [project] in three parts: who it helps, what exists now and the main obstacle. Ask for missing information and keep the language understandable to a new person. Choose my next milestone For this project [project] and blocker [blocker], suggest one deliverable for [date]. Define what I can show, how to check it and one specific question to ask a reviewer. CHECKLIST [ ] I explained the audience and result. [ ] I described what exists today. [ ] I named one blocker. [ ] I chose a visible deliverable. [ ] I wrote a specific feedback question. GET UNSTUCK What if I am still learning the tools? Choose a milestone that tests one thing, such as a draft page or a working link. The check-in can help you identify the next question. Do I need a finished course before asking for interest? You can prepare a clear description of the planned offer and an honest invitation to hear more. Do not imply unfinished content is already available. https://www.launchbox.space/help/launch-and-learn/2026-04-29
