Leave with a clearer first-visit checklist. BEFORE YOU START Choose one sign-up or getting-started journey. Bring the page link and a short description of what a new person should accomplish. FOLLOW ALONG 1. Write the first useful outcome Choose what a new visitor should finish first. Describe the result in their language and remove optional tasks from this initial journey. 2. Walk through it without shortcuts Start at the invitation and follow every link. Note unfamiliar labels, missing instructions and places where your owner account hides a problem a visitor might see. 3. Write a short checklist Turn the successful path into a few concrete steps. Give each step a visible result and explain where to get help if that result does not appear. PRACTICE PROMPTS Adapted exercises. Replace bracketed text and review every result. Find the missing steps A new member wants to [goal]. Here is my current onboarding explanation [text]. Identify assumed knowledge, missing actions and unclear results. Suggest the shortest complete path. Draft a getting-started checklist Using this tested journey [journey], write a beginner-friendly checklist. Each step should name the action and what the person should see. Include one useful support question if they get stuck. CHECKLIST [ ] I defined the first useful outcome. [ ] I followed the path from the invitation. [ ] I noted confusing labels. [ ] I wrote steps with visible results. [ ] I included a clear route to help. GET UNSTUCK Is a feature list enough for onboarding? A person also needs a goal, a starting point and a way to recognize success. Use the feature list as supporting detail. Can I use the historical walkthrough as current instructions? Use current Help for the exact interface. The feedback in this call is useful for identifying what a good walkthrough needs to explain. https://www.launchbox.space/help/launch-and-learn/2026-04-08
