Give your knowledge a place to grow March 18, 2026 ยท Hosted by Ian McDonald Explore the early LaunchBox demonstration and sketch a community experience around a specific audience and useful learning. Leave with a first-version community plan. BEFORE YOU START Choose a topic you know and a group you would like to help. Bring one piece of material you own, such as a checklist, article or lesson outline. FOLLOW ALONG 1. State who it is for Write a sentence describing the audience and the practical thing they want to learn. Avoid trying to serve everyone in the first version. 2. Choose a useful first experience Select one resource and one question that helps members use it. Explain what a person can do after completing that first activity. 3. Sketch the invitation and welcome Write how someone finds the community, what they see first and where they can ask for help. Review the plan with a potential member before building more. PRACTICE PROMPTS Adapted exercises. Replace bracketed text and review every result. Plan the first experience I know about [topic] and want to help [audience] do [task]. Using this material [material], propose one useful first lesson or resource and one discussion question. Keep the scope small. Draft a welcome Using this community plan [plan], draft a short welcome with one clear first action and a way to ask for help. Avoid unsupported promises and do not publish or send it. CHECKLIST [ ] I named the audience. [ ] I chose one learning goal. [ ] I selected material I can use. [ ] I wrote a clear first action. [ ] I asked someone whether the plan makes sense. GET UNSTUCK Do I need every feature shown in the demo? Start with the features needed for the first useful experience. Add more when a real member need makes their purpose clear. Are the early subscription and token figures current? They are historical examples. Use current product information when evaluating a plan or setting up your community. https://www.launchbox.space/help/launch-and-learn/2026-03-18
